Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you! The Community Shop, Inc., formerly known as the “Shop,” is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Our mission to transform your generous donations into valuable grants for local nonprofit organizations remains steadfast.
New Home for our Mission: We are in the process of renovating an existing building to better serve our community. While the journey has presented its challenges—such as navigating bureaucratic processes and coordinating with various vendors—our determination and your unwavering support have kept us moving forward.
Gratitude for Your Support: We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our community; it is truly humbling. Your generosity, along with the assistance of local businesses, contractors, skilled workers, and our wonderful volunteers, has been invaluable. A heartfelt “Thank You” to all who have stood by us during this transition.
Looking Ahead: While we anticipate that it will be a few more weeks before we receive the necessary occupancy certificate, we don’t expect to open in our new location until second quarter. We are eager to reopen our doors. Our dedicated volunteers are anxious to stock and arrange the store, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all. Although we are unable to accept physical donations at this time, we plan to receive them again as soon as possible.
